These include entry-level jobs in a youth jobs portal, specialty internships, and industrial pre-apprenticeships. The common thread: it is always a good time to learn a new job or skill to level up a career.
Youth Jobs Portal: A workforce board needed to increase the number of employers in the portal. It was important to find employers in industries that commonly hire youth, including restaurants, fast food, retail, grocery stores, and similar businesses.
Robotics Engineering Internships: A workforce board started a robotics engineering internship program for students to gain work experience. As a result, they needed to find businesses with occupational demand and hiring opportunities.
Pre-Apprenticeships: A local workforce board developed a Pre-Apprenticeship Program for industrial maintenance mechanics to fill a skills and workforce gap. But first, they needed to identify specialty employer sponsors for the industrial maintenance mechanics program.
